FF7 sound problems, video problems

I would just like to say, before anyone tries to "flame" me, I have legally bought this game... like 5 years ago. No, I didn't download it, it is legit.

I run my system different from alot of normal users. I have a domain that my account authenticates to, thus giving me no privileges to the network, and avoiding trojans and viruses. Not to get off track here, whenever I run epsxe 1.6.0 with FF7, it stalls at a black screen. If I run it with Administrator rights, it plays fine.

When I do get it running with Administrator rights, the video is.. odd. For instance, I can't choose which "opponents" that I want to "attacK", the cursor doesnt display over them. I usually end up attack allies. Also, the sound is a bit, (can't find the word for it), a bit distorted.. when attacking enemies and such.

I have tried running FF7 with 1.5.2 and have had no luck with these issues.

My specs for future reference: (Not the greatest, I know)
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 1800+ @ 1.53GHz
1GB of DDR266 ram
geforce FX 5900 128MB
Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum

Any help on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks

What sound plugin are you using? I was able to get perfect sound on my old 1700+ with the Eternal Plugin and a Sound Blaster Live!.
Oh, well I was going to suggest Eternal Plugin which is what I've always used. Glad to hear it's working for you now.:)
