I have been messing around with petes and peops plugins for a while and i have finally managed a configuration which works

it runs smoothly enough until i reach a battle. the game then drastically slows down, to about 30 fps for a few seconds. there is no intro into the battle, none of the blurring of the screen and such. Also, on the maps and normal screens, the background buildings and walkways have little green or red lines. using filtering i have managed to get them down to a minimum, but they still show up

also, the sound in the game never seems to work right. the music works well enough, no flaws i can detect, but the other sound effects are a different story. the sound effects like using a computer, slashing, magic, and limit breaks, all are distorted. the slashing sound from Cloud sounds like a little bell

i am using P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.9

ok the reason it runs like ass is because you have intel graphics. just use peops software plugin, because trying to run HW plugins on intel graphics will lead to much frustration.
