FF7 PAL (Help needed) Please read if you own FFVII

I am stuck at a part in the game, where you see the waterfall projection at the forgotten ancient capital. My game crash's right there, makes a ERR noise or something, the noise you get when you dont have a memory card in (thats what is sounds like)

http://rapidshare.de/files/1888986/memcards.zip.html

Im going to post my memory card, if anyone with ffvii could just get past this part and save for me and either post it here or email [email protected] or [email protected] I would give 2 big thank you's.

Once again thanks

Alright the download link has been fixed (I hope), just talk to nanaki's grandfather in the ancient capital and do the story there, and right before weapon attacks (aka right before you attempt to get in the airship after the capital) please save the game thank you

ok i loaded itup with PSXeven, and i noticed you have the EU version. sorry, but i cant help you. you're going to have to get help from someone with a PAL FF7.
I have solved my problem, for anyone that cares, I ran the game from CD rather then the ISO, and now it runs flawlessly!
Glad you managed to solve your problem, I assume your using epsxe emulator. whats your settings plugins etc to get final fantasy VII working PAL version?

There is definitely something up with this section of the game, at least in the PAL release - there's another thread with somebody having a problem here, and as I said in that thread, my old copy of the game would crash at this exact point, on my actual PlayStation.

Anyway, this problem went away as soon as I bought the Platinum re-release of the game - before I make an ISO of it and try to pass this section for you, can you just confirm that you're not running a Platinum version yourself?

edit: Uh, yeah.
yeah, that is a very common problem with the special warez edition of FF7 ;)
I've managed to figure out a workaround anyway and the problem has been solved in my case :)
i'm having the same problem, what was your workaround?
Use the CD rather than the one you d/led off the net ;)
