Well, along with many other people I've gotten stuck in the Wutai area, right in the battle with Rapps. The problem is the same as discussed on other places on the board; the battle commences, but then freezes the game.

I've tried making new ISO's from my discs, but they're so old and battered (they were second hand already when I bought them a million years ago) that it doesn't seem to be working.

I've also tried fiddling with the plug-in settings as per the preceeding posts.

Could someone use my save-games and finish that battle for me? It would be great if someone could. At least until I've bought a new copy of the game. (good thing the game's old and cheap, bad thing is I can't buy one till a week from now :???: )

This is a known issue with the pirated version of hte game.
You know I find it really odd the number of people who seem to have toasted thier copies of popular games. I've got hundreds of games. I don't treat them particularly badly, but neither do I treat them like gold and yet.... only one game has died on me, and that was because I dropped a pint mug full of coffee on to it from 4 feet.
Not that I'm suspicious at all.

Kane-Sama, it's a disease i suppose. i too have had hundreds of videogames on many systems, not to mention hundreds of CDs (purchased and burnt) and DVDs. the only CDs or games i've ever killed are CD-Rs that i've basically left on the floor or in drawers (left to die, in a way) have ever failed on me. come to think of it, even CDs that i've pretty much treated like crap in my car havent died.

however....i have a friend who demolishes everything he owns. i let him borrow my FF7 once, and he returned it the next YEAR with a smashed case, missing disc 1, and the manual and the front part of the paper (like....the part that shows the front image) gone. all of his CDs and DVDs are screwed up and scratched.

so, who knows.
