when i go to battle in ff7 i get to the battle fine but my bottom half of the screen is black like where the action menu is and where the timed turns are can someone hlep me?

turn up off-screen drawing, probably to 4.

no it's to 2, 4 makes an insane lagg it o-s drawing and sometimes even frambuffer upload situation on a lot of systems (at least my old asus motherboard with the 4200 ti graphs card and 2.0ghz)

strange you'd say that, Lord Kane made the config back in the day when he was using a GF3 and his config was 4/0/4

Was wondering if I could get help here since my problems almost like necknight's. When i'm in battle, i can't see the bottom half like HP,MP, battle menu , but its not black and i can still press "X" and it works, i just cant see what i'm choosing =/

I'm just curious why people feel compelled to ask first instead of muddling around the options on their own... strange considering that in real life most people would rather mess around rather than ask someone else, let alone read the documentation.

Of course, if you screw something up and can't reverse it by restoring the previous settings, by all means ask for help.

=P yea, now it works. I first tried 4 like you said, and IT WAS really laggy. Then I tried 2 and now it works ^^.
