It was said MGS4 have some pretty bad textures. Some of them can be compared to Half Life 1 and its true. And you must be ****ing blind if you dont find that Crysis texture incredible. Crysis DOES have better graphics than MGS4. Thats a fact.

Im not a troll...i dont know what you are trying to prove here...on the first MGS pic the character model is crisp and perfect but the wall textures are bad...fair enough...thats it...i didnt really notice them... the second pic looks horrible and tbh it looks scaled down...that is half life 1 an its graphics cannot be compared to MGS4 or CRYSIS...and the last pic....wtf is that...once again rabid fanboy...

I think it's pretty clear that apart from allowing uncompressed audio and a truckload of FMVs, bluray's impact on ingame graphical quality is next to none. Let's give that horse its rest now...

As for a good looking PS3 game, I think Killzone would be a good contender against MGS4. Uncharted looks good as well, though I heard it benefits mostly from having smaller areas, allowing for more detail.

Yes thats what i mean the only impact it has it capacity to hold the graphics not that it actually increases graphics itself...i think that uncharted has almost equivalent graphics to MGS4...very close and a very good looking game...as for a 360 game i think HALO 3 looks goo and has great lighting but it hasnt got the sharpest graphics

I'm not a 360 or Wii fanboy. I don't even buy consoles anymore, however I'm unbiased. I won't defend a PC game if it looks or plays bad just because its on PC. I was being completely honest when I said aside from the good looking character models in MGS4, the textures look like something from HL1.

My favorite graphics? Well from a technical perspective its Crysis all the way.

The thing with MGS4 is how they make you focus your attention to the characters so much. They're all buttered up and you lose focus on the other things on your screen. It's the first thing I realized when I tore my eyes off Snake while my brother played. Konami took advantage of the short comings of the human eye and brain

I'd also like to point out that the images used to depict mgs4 are from old builds of the game. Take a look at snakes face and notice the lack of the interface.

Textures didn't stop MGS4 from being a very sexy game. With no pop in textures at all .

Yes i know what you mean really its sort of like a mind trick...the last thing you focus on is the textures close up of scenery...they look realistic and perfect from a distance but when you move in you can really see some ba textures there but for some reason the game still looks a fraction from real life...Japanese game developers are smart
