I've been playing FF Origins recently and for FF1, it works fine, but for FF2, I get these problems

The Hideout (area Frion wakes up) the floor backgrounds/walls are too dark

The swril before battle is a huge black screen

The clouds are missing on the world map (I think there was suppose to be clounds)

Remember, emulators are not prefrect. I doubt #1 can be fixed.

About the battle swirl, set "frame buffer access" to 4. It will be much slower using that, but it should work that way. I'm assuming your using Pete's OpenGL or D3D plugin. Myself, along with many others, reccomend a software plugin for 2D games. They then to work better. This might fix the clouds too.

Just tried FF2 and I don't see any clouds on the world map.
