circumcision for blokes is A-OK in my books, its just skin after all, not as if the end of your knob is removed.

I heard that they did female circumcision to also make sure that they will be virgins until they are married and then to also give the males more pleasure when they have sex with the circumcised females. I think they sew them up after they circumcise them but I forgot. It's a horrible practice because it hurts the female for the rest of her life.
Btw, let's not have an all out full blown war because some people don't see what's wrong with circumcision and for others, some people don't like it. They're opinions, people. Let's not crucify people for their own opinions. And let's just focus on the topic.

Once you're an adult, if you still want to voluntarily cut a piece of yourself off then go right ahead. But how many adults do you see doing this? I disagree about the sensitivity, and having the skin removed reduces the chances for infection of that area, plus it is easier to keep clean. There are health benefits to being circumcised, but just like any operation if your doctor's fists are made of ham then there is a chance that any alteration can go sour.
Its no where near as bad as it is made out to be and I feel that parents should have the ability to make this decision. If you disagree that's fine, but male circumcision is nothing to really get the pitchforks out for.

even 2000 years ago people were able to give circumcisions w/o the technology we have today; so its pretty epic fail (and sad for the child) for the doctors to make such a mistake...
anyways, i think if done right circumcision for males is generally a good thing as it helps prevent infections.
this is also might be a reason why the Christian Bible (and other religious texts) promote circumcision (as a way to reduce infection during a time where the people were most-likely not so cleanly)

As for women, there's only one word for it: Barbaric. It's sad that they have to mutilate their women out of the idea that they should be subjected to men in every single way. Some parts of this world could definitely use a bit of renaissance in their medieval culture.

and we do it between the age of 4 months to 1 year max , so no psycological trauma from being mutilated or disfugred , it only makes the kid cry for 2 days , but the infant cries for 2 years anyway .

Surgery is 'man-made' anyways,
For certain things I prefer 'natural';
for instance, human body.
I'd avoid surgery if it is not necessary.
If we are evolved to have this form, then there's a meaning for each part of our body.

Certain Islamic historians believe, and preach that the Qu'ran does infact, NOT dictate the requirement for circumcision, this is rather preached by individual sects of the faith and is very much frowned upon by Islamic doctors.Its a sunnat(act of prophet).....it aint in KORAN i guess(as far as i know )......kok0/gamefreak can throw more light on it.........
CIRCUMCISION IS INFACT DIRTIER, THAN UNCIRCED.
The Glans, and Foreskin are self cleaning precipices, and are more prone to infection by the removal of the protective skin and oils that cover the glans.
BIOLOGY 101 kids, our skin is our biggest protection against infection. Removing even a part of it is begging for trouble.
