Hey guys im running on a fast machine, epsxe 1.6 using petes D3D plugin, but when i try to run fear effect 2 and view the art work which is unlockable, i get a light grey screen with lots of garble. the music still plays but it starts going faster than it does in the regular menu. also i can still input left or right and you can hear the images changing but the screen is still grey (so i have to restart the emulation.)

what are your specs? based on that ill tell you plugins to use...if you have a fast machine you shouldnt use D3D

man, cut that out. if it's so easy to simply "search the forums" why don't you do it for him and return some real advice? or give some advice and in closing say, if that doesnt work, use Search. but making a whole post of "search." is not going to help anyone.

i agree fireblaster is an a$$hole. i searched this whole forum but all i got was some retard that didnt know how to switch out the disks.

my machine is a high-spec AMD computer with 2 SLI-video cards.

im using the OpenGL and D3D plugins but they both do the same thing... i dont know what to do can anyone suggest a solution?

hmm, try OpenGL2 then.

is that the only screen that has problems? (i.e. the game runs fine). if so, and you want to check out the artwork, you can use Peops Software GPU, it's pretty damn compatible.

failing that, i'd suggest another emulator (ePSXe 1.5.2, PSXeven, PCSX...)

Have you limited the emulation? Set 'Use FPS Limit' to 60 if it is not done.
Failing that, following hushy's advice, use the P.E.Op.S Software plugin obtainable here.

I had the same problem and never find a solution. I think that this game's feature is not compatible with ePSXe.

listen i dont care what sex you are, just dont tell me to search when you could have easily done it yourself. anyways ive tried all these workarounds and none of them work (actually i did it before i came here).

well thanks Jordi at least i know im not the only one, i just wanted to see Hana (damn she is hot).
