Yes, Fable is finally coming to the PC. But things are never done easily at Lionhead Studios. Studio head Peter Molyneux is careful to make sure that those working on games delivered to the public aren't going to slack in any area. He's so dedicated to bringing the best experience possible that Fable: The Lost Chapters will include a whole lot more for players to do, see, and take part in.
Molyneux is probably my favorite game creator of all time, and i look forward to see the improvements he makes for the pc version. X-Box's never seem to be able to keep their exclusives...exclusive, and the PC versions always seem to have more content, no reason for me to ever buy one, especially since the Halo 2 mod is coming out for Halo.

AFAIK, the Halo 2 mod is multiplayer only, and, well, can't say its gfx will be close to the real thing. I still pray for a real Halo 2 PC port.
Multiplayer is pretty much the only thing i find worth playing in either Halo, and if Bungie ports it you'll only need a 4Ghz 2GB Ram SLi System to run it without it raping your PC. The current engine is fine now that computers have gotten better, and it looks better than the original did from what i saw. But back on topic :p.

Actually, Halo PC was ported by Gearbox Software, not Bungie, and, if you tried Halo CE (Custom Edition), released last year by Gearbox, you'd know that it got much faster cause now the engine uses short shaders, which Halo PC doesn't (shame you can't patch Halo PC with Halo CE, since CE is multiplayer only), so, if Halo 2 was to be "decently" ported, I'd expect it to run approximately as good as Doom3/FarCry do.

Yea, i said Bungie because i couldn't think of the name, but gearbox was what i meant. They'll probably port it eventually to make an extra few bucks.

halo2 doesnt look even remotely as good as Doom3/FarCry tho. in fact, i'd go far as to say its several leagues away from UT2k3...

Cant Wait! I've heard great things from my friends about Fable, and hopefully the PC port will live up to the hype!

In the XBOX version, there was supposed to be a 2P version where your friend could come over and import his/her character and you could play together but they had to cut it out to make the release date. Perhaps they will include an online mode where you can play together.

w00t i played it a little on a friends xbox, i'll be definitely picking this one up when it comes out.

BTW i am pretty sure there will be a official port of Halo 2, i dont see no reason why. It coul take a while but it will come to PC (/me offers sacrifice to God of Gaming)

I agree with Ryos and GryphonKlaw. I gave into the hype when it came out for X-Box and was seriously let down. I'll admit I loved the game. Loved it for about the 5-6 hours it takes to beat it. If it has all the things that were promised for the X-Box, I might get it. Real open areas, an actual dragon, and the never-ending missions after you beat the game, I want everything that was promised.

I think i'll wait a week after it's released before I pick it up.

XBOX to PC ports often experience improvements but the PC required for that is something that not every single PC user has. I'd call it partial exclusivity since not everyone can afford a PC that will run the game like an XBOX would. I still think that not getting a fine console like the XBOX just because "some" games are ported is a cheap idea. Unless you have a PC like Chrisray's...

Dead or Alive 3/Ultimate is still exclusive. Coop Halo/Halo 2, PD Orta, Out Run 2 and Sudeki are exclusive. There are a still quite a few exclusives on that system, including many I haven't mentioned.

Kane: Sudeki is coming to the PC. :p

I've heard great things about Fable and it's character development (also used in GTA: SA, which is coming out on the PC as well.)

All we need now is Halo 2. Come on Bungie, you know you want to!!

Things will be different with xbox 2 anyhow, no more easy PC conversions... atleast not until there is a PC that can run the games :p

I believe that from next year, Dual Processor and Dual GPU systems will start to become more mainstream. Then again, the X-Box 2 will have three Xeons...
