Everytime I bootup my computer, it makes a really loud "BEEP BEEP" sound, the only way to bypass the beeping, i have to do this:
Press F1 (Brings me into setup)
Go to exit--exit without changing, then WinXP boots up.

This is on my cheapa$$ Compaq Presario s4214bd.

ANy ideas?

The only thing i can think of is the my BIOS is screwed up..

Sometimes the bios beeps if your agp card, pci cards, or other hardware is not in their slots correctly. Try to take take out your hardware and then refit it firmly back in place.

But flash your bios before you do that.

Look in your manual. The bios gives thoes beeps to alert you of a problem. There should be a table of beep codes to determine your problem.

I had a hench it was

The only other time a computer beeps like that if there was no keyboard present or the display couldn't be initalized.

Did you notice that every time you did that...the clock resetted back to 12:00???
