Looks amazing but why would you play at higher resolution but without watching the complete effects? Why don't you lower it a little and let your eyes enjoy the full detail of the game?

Shadows in EQ2 are not a choice with the current hardware. I have almost everything maxed out except shadows running the game in 1024*768 and I get around 35-45 fps (save on raids when the fps drops a lot when plenty of effects begin appearing on screen).
