Espxe Save/ Load State problem with windows isntalled on mac( with vmware fusion)

i've got a macbook pro, with windows xp installed with vmware fusion, an application tha lets me use windows os on a mac as a common application window....the problem is about saving and loading with F1 & F3....on a mac keyboard, F1 and F3 are not present...so, is there a way to use other buttons to use freeze files? this is not very important, but in some games that's really useful...thanks ^_^
