helo, im new to PSX emulation and this is my first time trying it.

i downloaded all the necessary plugins, the scph1001 and scph7502 BIOS, zlib1.dll and ePSXe v1.7.0. i also have an ISO file for vagrant story, but when i tried to load the ISO (mdf file), it says (error loading [plugins gpu.dat]), what does it mean and how do i fix it?

why not? i thought downloading BIOS is okay as long as you have a PS1. anyway, thanks for your help, if you cant help further than i understand..

If you have a PS1 then why not fetch the BIOS file from there?

no, the BIOS is copyrighted software so downloading it, regardless of if you own the actual console or not, is illegal. the BIOS you use must come from your own, the link that is in the above post will explain how this is done.

ah i see, i thought it was okay because the site i downloaded the chip from said it was okay to download it if you have a PS1. also, i didnt know how to dump a chip at that time.. and after reading through the guide...

anyway, sorry for the inconvenience
