I have a problem with the XEBRA emulator
Final Fantasy 8 PAL does not run for me (Spanish)
with other games NTSC, NTSC-J and PAL version works normally
when I open the game it runs the BIOS without any problem, but when it reaches the game the black screen remains
I already tried with a PAL BIOS and the problem continues
Investigating I discovered that it is a "sub-channel" problem
I need to run the game in XEBRA to be able to play Chocobo World with the PK201 emulator
Can someone help me solve that problem?

no me corre el Final Fantasy 8 PAL (español)
con otros juegos versión NTSC, NTSC-J y PAL funciona normalmente
cuando abro el juego corre la BIOS sin ningún problema, pero cuando llega al juego se queda la pantalla negra

investigando descubrí que es un problema de "sub-channel"
necesito correr el juego en XEBRA para poder jugar el Chocobo World con el emulador PK201

XEBRA is an emulator made in Japan that has high compatibility. The UI is in English, however, since it's not the developer's first language some of the naming conventions may seem weird compared to other emulators (for example the BIOS are instead referred to as OSROM). Luckily there is a guide that helps explains how each option works. Games that require subchannel data are not supported, but most other games run flawlessly.

What he said, but there is hope yet, look up FF8 pal protection fix, you'll find a ppf patch that you can apply directly to the discs removing the protection.
