anyway to get a save from epsxe on to a ps1 memory card?

I have a chipped ps2 so can copy saves to usb to ps2 mem card

but are they the right format?

is there anyway to do it in reverse?

You can export raw saves from .mcr with MemcardRex and then just upload them with uLaunchELF.
The same can be done in reverse by importing raw saves to .mcr.
