Well yesterday I threw this site together ... some of you might remember it from the past and some might not . There isn't much there now but I will be working on that over the next couple days. Let me know what you think.

Last time it went pretty good ... but I closed it to do other things ... 60,000+ visitors in 2 months that last time .. not bad for a fan site.

You can't post a sticky thread to help out this forum but you can post one to plug your site...very nice.

Well actually the site is intended to help the users of ePSXe ... since this is what you wanted ... something dedicated to support for ePSXe, I didn't think someone like you would complain, but anway have your fun.

Also yes this thread is pretty much maintainence free ... so I don't see how it applies. Also if you are so unhappy with the forums why do you stick around? I thought you said if you can't get the help you needed then there is no reason for you to stay or come back ... yet here you are

Actually I said that this is my #1 source for help. I just said that I didn't like *** FF9 posts scrolling these boards. Simple as that. I took a look at your site(I remember it from before too) and to me it seems to me that you only post news like many other news posting sites. I clicked your FAQ link and this is what I found:

What's wrong with this guy, and who's he? i dont know wormie's site from before, so i'm seeing this as a brand new site. and as such, a faq with no content is understandable and expected. a 3 yr old can figure this out: things need time to build up.
i kinda like the idea where members can post reviews, news, support articles, etc etc. looks like this is gonna be a good site.

so what's the problem with that guy? :eyes:

I guess some people just can't help themselves. I actually took his post into consideration when bringing this site back. It was clearly obvious there was not another organized site for help with ePSXe. I wanted to provide this like the time before. As far as posting news ... yes I will post news if it has something to do with ePSXe in one form or another. Don't get me wrong, this site is for the users more then it is for me. I have other sites that are more geared for me. I just want to give the users a place to come and get the info they need and be able to give back to the community and share their ideas. This site is very user interactive and it was my hope to build the site up with the users input and help. I am sorry if you are still mad about that post. Taking it out on me is wasted time. If you remember correctly I was extremely nice about what I posted and gave other solutions to your problems. I was hoping this could be one of them.

As for the FAQ section being empty it is for obvious reasons. I just opened this site two days ago. I have zero content from the previous time it was open and I also clearly stated in the top post in this thread and the message on the main page of the site that their wasn't much there now but that I will be working on it. I wanted to make this a group effort with the users so everyone can give there input. I am a very easy going guy that likes to help out whenever possible. I am sorry if you are bitter about the fact that we were not able to do what you wanted with your idea. Hopefully you will be able to change your mind about this. Anyways, enjoy the site and I hope you will help me in making this a good resource for others like you looking for help.

Wormie I will say that I am sorry for the BS I've been saying. Your last post is too true and I have no reason to attack you. You're trying to help the community and I'm being a jackass. I was bitter about that other stuff and I should have thought better than to drum up old crap. It may sound weak but I hope your site does well. And yes I was actually a frequent visitor at one time. I can't take back what I've said but I hope the next time we talk we can get along.

You're always complaining about people taking your words out of their context, now it me who "try to skewer *your* words".
It's easy to be sorry for what you say, but you ought to think before you post crap about others.

There is nothing to win, if you think this forum is about this then I believe you're at the wrong place.

Snowball2, I have read your post on the FF9 sticky, and though your idea may have been OK, you are going WAY overboard to flame other users (i.e. i4get just now). What's more, it's inconsistent - you apologize to one person you flamed, and in the same post flame another that said nothing against you.

My point? Be polite. Just try it. People MAY just be polite back (what a concept).
