Hi

I use Epsxe many years, and my PC is fast enough, so i think
it´s no Ressource oder wrong Config Problem.

I downloaded that epsxe 1.7 and try it with Tekken 3, and the FX
sound realy Crapy, against the old one.

Here what i mean.

Spu 1.7
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Spu 1.5.2

Thats no Joke, bud the old one Sounds more Clear as every other SPU
Plugin that i try.

Only one thing is bether with the new Core, only 1% Cpu Load.

The old one take 50% on my Dual Core, like all other Sound Plugins that i try.

Now i´m realy angry.

I´m coding self i´m no Noob, for me is the Sense from a newer Version
that the New one got the same Quality, and can more features as the old one.
Bud that 1.7 has no options that the old one got

So where´s the Sense from that new 1.7 Spu Core ?

Why you change Good Working Stuff, talk is bether and stuff and before you
Listen and test ?

Don't get me wrong but either your doing something wrong or you need some ear exam both Pete's spu plugin and Eternal SPU beat the ePSXe Core 1.52 SPU in terms of quality. And this i can say spanning from a P3 till my current config.

Are you think i´m Lying ? i can Record with my Screenrecorder that i´m not lying, i can record every Config and Session.

Second.
Do you or that other one listen the Files ? Every one from my Board that listen
Both Files say the Same.

Spu 1.7 <- Bad FX Trebble, Background is to Loud compared to the FX.

Spu 1.5.2 <- this one got much bether Trebble, the Voice and Beat
Sounds are more Clear, the FX and Background Sounds are on the same
Volume Level. (no i´m no Loudness War Fan, bud i know Tekken 3 very good
and the most Accuraty Sound that i got for TK3 is with the old 1.5.2)

And my "Ear Exam" is not bad *grrrr*

All that know me personaly know that my ears are very good, for other people
128kbits mp3 lame sounds good, for me sounds it like crap, that´s why i use
only VBR Ogg 192-224.

You made it sound like a generalization and since ePSXe core spu 1.52 and 1.70 are not the only spu plugins out there in fact the most famous are eternal and pete's one, i replied:

Where in that post did i mentioned something about ePSXe 1.70 core SPU ?

Conclusion:
If you where referring just between ePSXe 1.52 and 1.7 spu core in your original statement, sorry then it was a misunderstanding, but be more careful expressing ideas.

If you where referring to other SPU plugins as well, then i stand by what i said.

Yes it was a misunderstanding, i mean only 1.5.2 and 1.7

The Difference is minimal between Old Core and SPU Eternal,Peops etc
(i tried all from Emuxhaven: Emulators & Emulation News Site at its best) in TK3, and i think too
that other Sound Plugin´s, sounds in the most case bether as that Core Spu.

I loaded for only to get fast to the Title Screen, then i started the practice
and recorded.
