Hi there,
I'm reversing Final Fantasy 7's engine and ePSXe is a really cool beans tool to assist with what I'm doing. However I have a question about save states.
I've been using save states to make images of the PSX ram. From here I can directly alter the state and reload with an altered memory image. The probelm is the states are gzipped and I have to unzip them every time. The amusing thing is ePSXe will load an uncompressed save state just fine.
Is there a way to turn off save state compression? (I'm running Linux BTW)
