Hey, I have a question about English grammar and I'd like you guuys to help me :)

I've read the following line on a weblog: "The One indicates: xxx".

"The one" is the name of a nightclub and "xxx" is the name of a random song.

I don't know why but the use of verb "indicates" sounded kinda weird to me but I'd like to know if it's correct to use this verb because I'm used to read "suggests" instead.

The One recommends:
The One would recommend:

"The One 'indicates':" reads like "The One 'points to':"
