I just realised that my the processor in my new pc that hyper threading can be enabled, but i dont know how. I ran the Hyper Threding Check program from Intel and it says there is a problem in the chipset, and unexpcted result. The CPU and the Bios are ok. Does anyone know what to do now?

Your motherboard might not support hyper-threading, or it may not be enabled. Of course it could also be enabled and you might not know (the program could have failed in telling you). First of all, load up Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC) and check the "Performance" tab. If there are two parts to the CPU Usage History then HT is enabled. If not then restart your computer and go into your BIOS (usually DEL at the memory check) and look for an option to enable HT (probably somewhere in the CPU or chipset configuration).
