No way has it reached its limits. As console technology increases, so does emulation technology, and the technology in our computers. The only thing a more complex console means, is a more complex emulator.
maybe at first let's wait until all next gen consoles will be released, and more complete emulation of current 'next gens'itayperl said:I can't wait to see a first non working beta of pcsx3...
PATIENCE is all we need![]()
it's most popular... and I also think that it's easier to emulate console legally than all those arcades... you can also write emulator of cell phones, calculators and such... but baside author and few otheres who's gonna enjoy it?CKemu said:Anouther point, why do people assume that emulation is console specific?
Oh yeah, me awaits the day I will see an Xbox emulator running Chankast running PCSXDC running that PSX Nes emu running a NES game on a next gen consoleKeith said:I also see emulation growing more in the area of emulators for consoles rather then emulators for PCs. I think we will see more and more emulators for these new consoles. The more powerful the newer consoles are, the more they can emulate. I wouldn't be surprised to see DC, PS1, N64 and so on emulation running great on some of the newer consoles someday as well as all the other retro systems.
