Here a short summary of where we're standing in Dxbx development :

Because Dxbx started as a port of Cxbx, the first milestone was to do the same conversion from XBE to EXE as Cxbx does.
This goal has been reached last week (at least for the games I tested), so the next step is implementing our own Kernel DLL.

We're currently busy on getting thunks in our (minimal) Delphi-version of the Kernel DLL callable from the generated EXE (help is welcome for this).

Since you people like to see pictures more than anything, here a few screenshots of Panzer Dragoon Orta starting up from our generated EXE (while still cheating by using Cxbx's Kernel DLL) :
