is it just me, or Dragon Warrior 7 JUST doesn't work with VGS? Somehow after pressing start, it just freezes. I tried fiddling with games.txt, but after 50 tries or so I gave up.


....So has anyone else got this game to work in VGS?

it doesn't work for me too. It hangs with some music after pressing start at the title screen.

But it works with ePSXe though. Unfortunately, this means i'll have to play it using a small window.

Well, it can..... but only with VGS. With ePSXe you can see the refresh rate. That's how slow it is.

....I really gotta upgrade, but girlfriend maintenance is more important right now.

I REALLY wish I could find it locally, but since it's a japanese game, there's a better chance of Hell freezing over first before someone accidentally imports it over here.

Anyway, I'm ordering it from NCSX for a total cost of $75 (P3900!) including shipping.

btw, TokiMemo IS an acquired taste. I suggest you try out the super famicom version first.
