DW7 and ePSXe SPU

Has anyone here tried playing Dragon Warrior 7 using the ePSXe SPU? If you did, did you experience the same weird sound like machinegun fire whenever you open doors in houses? :confused:
I'd like to use Eternal for this game too, but it degrades the performance too much for my system.

hmm, will try that. :)

....and why limit yourself to being a utilityman anyway? you could be my, uh, Managing Director or some other spiffy boardroom title. ;)
