Hello

I've already searched the forum for any info regarding this, but didnt find anything.

I have a broken PS2 (the DSP chip is broken, think its called that, but everything else is perfect). i wanted to know is it possible to desolder the bios chip and make a cable or something to connect it to my computer and dump the bios that way?

I'm fine with soldering and stuff like that. I just need a cirtuit diagram and istructions for how to do it.

Any ideas apreciated.

P.S. its a V9 PS2.

You'd need a chip reader (which can be very expensive). Your best bet would be to just buy a new PS2.;)
