Here's what the author of Dsemu had to say regarding his project

Monday, 27th September 2004
And once again, I've been struck down with a hefty bout of procrastinitis; haven't touched the emu for over a week. It's possible that some work may be done on designing or stealing an assembly ARM core in the near future.

i doubt it would be the case. but if it is we'll have no choice but not supporting it. but for now DSemu is far from being a DS emu so i guess we'll wait and see

Another update

Thursday, 30th September 2004
Not much happening on the emu front. I did take a leaf out of mic's book, and make the GDI write graphics in 16 bits instead of doing an extra lookup from 16-bit GBA colours to 32-bit GDI. Of course, it's extra processing on Windows' part, but it makes life a little simpler for the GPU.
