DS emulation... Possible?

Well I just realised there is no place other than this forum to talk about future emulation of new consoles, I hope I'm posting at the right place.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Would it be possible to emulate the DS? How would they emulate the touch screen? Has this been done before, maybe with a PDA emulator? I was thinking it might be possible to have the mouse act as the stylus, and basically the monitor would be the touch screen.

it is totally possible. some people are already looking into it. one project has already started (DSemu) but currently doesnt have any DS code (but plans on making DSemulation)

i beleive there is an irc channel (#dsdev on EFnet) where information is exchanged in between some coders.
Touch screen could easily be emulated via mouse or for some people, drawing boards (WaCom's they call it)

a functionnal DS emulator is bound to show up. :p
