i don't understand why that guy spent over $400 on the remote controlled car, when you can get a toy remote control car for $50.

they're both toys; just one has more epeen factor i suppose.

Those cheap rc cars suck. You can only drive for about fifteen minutes before the batteries start to die. And they have no power and break rather easily.

When I was twelve, my friend had a gas powered monster truck that was about two feet tall. Now that was a pretty cool toy.

An old mate of mine built a fuel powered RC car from scratch and it was a truly frightening beast in terms of how quick it was and how long it ran for. Twas awesome fun indeed.

and awesome vid Phil. RC cars are the dogs bollocks:thumb:

A battery powered RC car doesn't not have enough power to drift....
I bought a nitro powered car when i was twelve ($420), and it was awesome, you could modify it to insane degrees, just like a real car. I always wanted the $800 .28" motor with 3speed transmission, capable of propelling my car from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 87 mph :drool:
