Dreamcast video upgrade?

Hi there, im just a little confused and i was wondering if someone might be able to straighten this out for me. On many forums i hear of ppl installing graphic enhancers or video card upgrades in there dreamcast. I was wondering if someone had an explanation for it and where i might be able to find it, if its safe for my console, etc.

No idea where you got this information from. We are not aware of such a device.

Theoretically it has been reported that the chipset is upgradable, but we have heard of no such creations. It would have to be a PowerVR chip, and we don't think NEC is making updates for it.

This makes me wonder if I can replace the GeForce 3 GPU in my Xbox with a GeForce 7 GPU :lol:
