The DOSBox team released v0.62 last night :)

DOSBox is an x86 emulator with builtin DOS, very usefull to run old DOS games on recent computers.

Hi All,

After a long long time a new version of DOSBox has been released.
The most important new features are:

- Improved compatibility.
- Most games run faster.
- Intelligent MPU 401 emulation.
- ISO/disk image support.
- Dynamic cpu core is more stable than 0.61.
- Custom videochipset for cga, tandy and hercules emulation.
- Improved timer emulation.
- Improved pcspeaker emulation.
- Improved gus emulation.
- Improved the internal DOS.
- Vga emulation fixes.
- Vesa/vga bios fixes.
- Improved interpolating internal mixer with volume settings.
- Raw Adlib/midi capturing.
- Added support for ddraw.
- Added IPX emulation.

Very good. Let's see if the mouse support really improved.

Mousesupport was already fine with me but speed was a problem? May be i configured also soemthing wrong lets see ;)
I just tested so far Dune 2
I will check new version and on another PC soon , but very cool this new release :)

No mouse problems here. Downloaded it and tried it w/Dungeon Hack (uses mouse for control) and Bad Blood. Both games are perfect. Definately a "must have" if you still like to play and enjoy the "older stuff", like I do.

For a detailed compatibility list visit the DosBox homepage. ScummVM doesn't run Discworld.

Wow, tried running Crusader No Regret and it works, not full speed tho (And I already Ctrl+F12 untill my CPU usage is 100%)

But it's nice seeing crusader in action again, I can't believe how the explosions still looks good today :D

@Archibald: DiscWorld works perfectly in DOSBox.

@didamangi: did you try the dynamic core? (you can change the core in the config file)
