Don't get me wrong, VGS has good compatibility, but doesn't VGS just suck. Not customizable, and the graphics just plain suck. What do you guys think?
I think VGS tries to emulate a PSX in its truest form. A PSX doesn't come with advanced memory managers or anything(although VGS is missing the BIOS). As an emulator(software that makes the computer think it's something else) I think it hits the target dead on. It cuts all the crap and goes straight for what's important, the emulation. I find it to be the most accurate PSX emulator available and the most compatible, and it wins my favor in that respect.Originally posted by sights
I'll have to agree with you about the memory card manager of VGS. It's adequate - it does its job, but that's all. The mem managers of Bleem & FPSE are better, but also not perfect. Thankfully, there are plenty of independent memory managers to go around![]()
