Yeah I get that as well. Does it happen when you were just playing on Dolphin and you turn it off and on again? Sometimes I think it keeps it running in the background without making it visible. Try checking all your background processes especially cpu resources before you turn it on. Anything additional - Firefox, antivirus, whatever - will slow down Dolphin.
