When I try to boot Smash Bros. Melee, it tells me that my region settings are wrong on my memory card, and insists I switch to "MemoryCardA.EUR.raw" from "MemoryCardA.raw". When I click no, Dolphin closes, when I click yes, Melee tells me there is something other than a memory card inserted.

Go to the memory card(in User>GC), and manually rename it to MemoryCardA.EUR.raw, and it should work.

That didn't do the trick, sadly.

try memcard managger to past the file from your old memcard to the new
