try the 64bit version, if that CPU supports it, otherwise you can try overclocking, but that seems like a mobile CPU so that's probably out of the question ...

I'll give my experience with dolphin 3.0.

I bought a notebook (or laptop) from a Brazilian brand (known by the bad quality of its products) CCE, basically :
CPU: i7 2630QM
RAM: 4GB DDR3 (I would bet 1080MHZ)
Chipset: Intel® HM65
Internal Video: Intel® HD Graphic 3000

Man it's playable (even that I've already played almost all good games of Wii playing it in HD it's great) IT'S NOT ALWAYS 60FPS but it's playable. Windows 7 64 bits (and that DynaRec 64).

What kind of programs do you use to record gaming action? (preferable free and or open source)

Time to bump this thread..

Latest builds for Dolphin fixes some issues with HLE Zelda Ucode. Here is the post and accompanying thread to test the aforementioned builds and report any issues.

Zelda HLE games have long been the odd ones out when it comes to the quality of HLE audio. As of 4.0-1300 there has been a change to the DSP HLE emulation for those games. As such, we would like to see what issues remain, which were fixed, and what, if any, regressions have cropped up.

The following games need to be tested in Revision 4.0-1302:

Animal Crossing
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (GC)
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (Wii)
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Pikmin
New Play Control: Pikmin
Pikmin 2
New Play Control: Pikmin 2
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario Sunshine
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC)
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

GameCube Bios may also be affected.

The issues that are expected to be fixed in the above games include:
*Game freezes such as Issue 7125.
*The audio in all of these games should finally be synchronous with the action.
*Audio notes being dropped, or music stopping. (Issue 2399)

Issues that have still been observed at this early state and need confirmation:
Luigi's Mansion Crackling - Reported by DJBarry04
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Rolling Ball Levels have distorted music - Reported by JMC47
Twilight Princess (Wii): Music Distorted - Reported by MaJoR
Wind Waker: All audio stops playing - noticed on a stream, streamer did load a savestates before it happen and was performing the zombie hover.

Confirmed Multi-game issues in Zelda HLE
*Reverb is missing
*Audio levels are still incorrect in many games. (issue 5763)
*Some sounds may still have incorrect pitch. (issue 5746)
*Audio channels may not be balanced properly. (Issue 7126)

Confirmed Issues in Zelda HLE games
*The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
---Wrong Pitch on magic meter filling up/depleting
---Missing Reverb
*The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
---Wrong Pitch on magic meter filling up/depleting
---Missing Reverb
*Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
---Music/Sound Effect Volumes incorrect
---Missing Reverb
*Super Mario Galaxy 1
---Sound Effects/Some Musical Notes too loud
*Super Mario Galaxy 2
---Sound Effects/Some Musical Notes too loud
*The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
---All sounds are mono
---Missing Reverb
*GameCube Bios (NTSC)
---Dolphin used Screech, it was super effective.

When using the new nvidia drivers released today, I can't play any game in opengl at all. It crashes.

When installing geforce experience, I can no longer sync my tr wiimote to the toshiba drivers to use in dolphin.

Anyone else experiencing this?
Both of these things were just working last night (before the installation of the new drivers).

:)

I'm not into emulation much anymore and my current hardware is inadequate for Dolphin. I keep hemming and hawing about posting news since honestly I tend to procrastinate a lot. But I know not everyone visits the Dolphin forums or is registered there so I thought I would share it here since Ngemu is (or was) the most active emulation community.

Btw renamed the thread since Dolphin no longer uses svn or google code, now Dolphin uses git and the repository is hosted on github.
