As bobotns said, either you burnt a CD at a speed that it didn't support or you've caused some degree of damage to the substrate on the disc (leaving it in the sun or in a hot room, for example). There's very little chance of Nero causing such problems, save for having a buffer underrun, though technically that's not Nero's fault either.
