I ran some tests on each GeForce that I have at my disposal. Hope this helps ya!

Guillemot GeForce 256 SDR 32MB
AA-Modes: 2X – 4X

Asus V6800 GeForce 256 DDR 32MB
AA-Modes: 2x – 4X

LeadTek GeForce2 MX 32MB
AA-Modes: 2X – 4X

Hercules GeForce2 MX 400 32MB
AA-Modes: 2x – 4X

Creative GeForce 2 GTS 32MB
AA-Modes: 2X – 4X

LeadTek GeForce 3 64MB
AA-Modes: 2x – Quincunx – 4X

So it’s safe to say that they all support FSAA. You’ll notice that only the GF3 supports a new type of AA mode, in fact it supports 2 new types. but you can only see one it the options which is Quincunx. The other one is HRAA.

Also here is the GeForce FAQ. You’ll find a lot of cool info.

EDIT:Forgot to mention that all GeForces support AA wiht OpenGL

rio: Do you have any other games other then using ePSXe to test FSAA?

I don’t have the knowledge to say if ePSXe is a good program to test out FSAA. I know it works great for me though. Maybe some other member can inform us about this.

yep, try using nvmax, i had the same prob as you did.... i think that's because of the D3d and OGL AA settings are in the same tab. Using nvmax or another geforce tweak utility enables you to set this right and take a lot more advantage from your card......

properties it wont work with pete's ogl (sometime works)

i know if i choose fsaa 4x its only 2x for opengl

but, thanks for the answers

for nvmax, i'll give it a try :)

jus one more thing , if i may rio, you have an Asus V6600 nVIDIA™ GeForce™ 32 MB SGRAM and you are using the (Detonator4 21.81) , are these from asus itself or from the reference from nvidia???? Cos i have a Asus V6800 deluxe and i was looking for these drivers......if not, i sugest you wait till asus realease them, cos the reference drivers usualy 5-6 frames slower than the manufacter divers....

The Nvidia drivers are the best drivers for any Video card using their chipset. I don’t agree with ya (GEO) saying that they produce less FPS compare to manufacturer drivers.

Surely you’ll find a difference between some driver version, but the fact remains that nvidia Drivers are very popular due there speed and compatibility
