The Movie Trailer for DOA

(I blame raziel for pointing this out to me, curse you, CURSE YOU!!)

Okay, so it's unfair to judge a movie by it's trailer, but from the trailer we can determine:

• The chicks are hot (thats good)
• They are potentially as dumb, and bimbo-esqué as you can possibly imagine (err, aww, I wanted sexy but smart)
• Lots of hammy acting, and bad jokes (okay so I laugh at the occasional bad joke)
• Funky fight seens, or perhaps just panty flash heaven (stop dribbling :drool: )
• This will be a bad film in terms of plot, acting etc, but hey it will be a geeky drool fest.

I dare say this film will beat Street Fighter and Mario Bro's in terms of game movies, simply because it's sexier, but this I doubt will do the game to film crossover much favours.

Sigh... Tecmo made such a fine game. Why can't movie studios respect DOA's fanbase by showing some love and/or more dedication? Eyecandy? Not everyone who bought DOA did for the graphics. Content was more important. Fanservice *only* sells in Japan.

Didn't appreciate the trailer, but I bet I'll be asked out to see this movie the week it comes out anyway. Sigh... I'm bored beforehand.

I watched it before seeing this topic, and yeah, it sucks...
Judging by the "OMG I broke one of my nails" line, jokes are as lame as Schwarzie's ones in Predator
It's all focused on stupid girls fighting stupid males, it doesn't even feature DOAs boob size and bounce-ness. It looks dumb like The Rock shooting with the BFG...


Still waiting for Silent Hill, at least the screenshots have something that reminds of the game

PS: Don't read the reviewer's comments, he clearly doesn't expect a french movie to be good

Whats the point of making a movie out of a video game anyway, why watch a movie when you can play the game and actualy feel like your in one. Why is evryone so surprised ? What really good movies have been based on video games...I cant think of one can you, at least you can go watch the movie and have a few good laughs.
