i believe that chan is the more informal one, usually adressed to younger girls or samll children, where san is more formal but still not addressed to your superior..

actually, the sentence construction was okay....the japanese would understand it's a gaijin who's talking anyway.


You're on the right path. keep on trying, and you'll eventually be able to go to Japan someday and actually get to have a coherent conversation with the game store clerk pretty helpful in ferreting out those rare, Japan-only games.
