i got a question about it.i tried this codec.but when i encode something the sound comes first and then the video apprears.i am using MPEG layer3 codec for sound compression.it happens like this.e.g:a man says WOW.after encoding the clip it becomes like this:the sound of WOW comes first and then the mouth moves.it's kind of video is legging behind.any suggestions?what codec do you guys use?

I used various methods but had the same problem as you...it seems that whenever I'm compressing a video the sound goes out of sync :(

i use tmpgenc for encoding
i havent noticed the video lagging in any of the movies i do
i would supply a link to a site that has it but i believe it might be a questionable site to post here.

i'll go find the programs home site and post that

here you guys go
its free ware but does have a time limit on encoding in mpg 2

(i use it to make vcds not divx encoded avi's so i dont know if it can be used to do so)

Earlier versions of tmpgenc do not have that time limit on mpg2. Try searching the web for it. I forgot its address. Have fun!
