I have looked on the web for awhile and I can't seem to find a way to revert my directX setting back to version 7 without reinstalling. I know everyone says they have no trouble running emus with DirectX8 but I can't get any of my Direct3d plugins to work and these plugins always worked before when I was using version 7. I just don't want to remove and reinstall directX and I hope there is some way to change it.

dx8 works fine 4 me w/ epsxe!

but m8, whats the problem of reinstalling Dx7?

I think i heard about someone who did that. he deleted the wrong key

Lucky he had a copy of the registry, so, if ur gonna try that (maybe it works) make a copy of it
