Devil May Cry 3

Yes the game is great, although the only thing that some ppl are complaining is the camera and difficulty. Although personally I did not find it that difficult (maybe cuz I am use to playing DMC in Dante must Die mode), overall it is a great game

I'm really looking forward to DMC3. I'm going to get the US version after finals are over. I think I will actually enjoy the difficulty.

ummm, I hope your talking abuot the DMC3 and not DMC2 because that was UBER easy. I'm still waiting for DMC3 to hit US shelfs.

This game is hella sweet. I have never played DMC1/2 so this was a nice introduction

DMC2 is one of the worst games I've ever played, DMC1 however was one of the games that made me like the PS2. It was stylish, impressive, and needed skill rather than button mashing to win.

I await DMC3, but first: I await RE4 and MGS3. Damned Japanese developers. >_<

Hey check out the reviews on IGN and Gamespot . The guy on IGN is so passionate about it while the guy on gamespot is all whatever boring. Anwayz one point that they both are reiterating is that the game is DAMN HARD :thumb:. Man I so missed out on Ninja Gaiden(NO XBOX) hopefully this beast can quench my thirst :evil:.

Anywayz i really didnt play the first two, so is this like the prequel to both of em (Hopefully). And how do you guys rate the difficulty as is and when compared with ninja gaiden.

heh... /me still haven't completed DMC1... so I quess till then I'll have some spare 'coins' in wallet for DMC3 ... if you all say DMC2 is such crap I think I won't buy it...

Already played MGS3 and my friend just bought RE4.....I guess I won't do well in the upcoming quizes I'm seriously considering DMC3 since I tried it with a friend and it took my breath away It's not that difficult though....

Did you know the American version of Devil May Cry 3 is set to hard difficulty right out of the box? (the Japanese version is on normal) You can not select the difficulty until you meat certain requirements. (its not too bad, you just have to lose a few times. but then it only get you easy mode)

I wish the Japanese version was more like this. (Too many people over here play like like cowards on easy/normal)

From what I hear, no but maybe somebody should test it.

I'll check it out if no one does once it's on my ps2 hdd.

I must say this one may be damn challengigng,hell i rented the first one and tryed running at the bad guys first then attacking,let me tell you it doesn't work as they hit first.

Yes, that code does work on the US version (I did it myself).

I picked up my copy of DMC3 (US version) Tuesday, and I am very impressed. The music, graphics, presentation, gameplay, etc are all top notch. My only complaint is the difficulty level. I am playing on easy, which seems to be equivalent to normal on the Japanese version, from what I've heard. The other difference between the two versions is that the US version no longer has check points like the Japanese version. Instead, you must either start the entire level over or start from the previous room by using a yellow orb.

The lack of checkpoints blows.
