Destiny I doesn't work!

I tried to run Tales of Destiny I with ePSXe, but it doesn't even boot! All I see is a black screen!

It's very strange, tales of destiny 2 works perfectly!

Anyone knows of a specific configuration of ePSXe for this game? I can give my config and my pc specific, if you need.

Are you playing from the original disc or an ISO? Do you have a PAL version or NTSC?

OK.

I'm running it from an .iso.

epsxe 1.6.0 with

Pete's Opengl2 driver (graphic)
P.E.Op.S. Dsound audio driver 1.9 (audio)
Internal epsxe W2K CDR (cd)

graphic configuration:
1280*1024
Internal X/Y resolution: 1 High - standard
Compatibility: all 3 on standard

My pc:

pentium 4 2.53 Ghz
ram 256 ddr
Ati Radeon 9000 128 Mb ram
Windows xp pro

As I said, it works perfectly with games like ToD2, FFIX, Grandia, Xenogears...
I don't think it's a pc-related problem.

Try changing your CD plugin. If you want easy to use (autoconfiguring) plugins, try either Xeven's or SaPu's plugins. If you want one that's tweakable, try P.E.Op.S.

I don't think using ogl2 with that card is a good idea, you should use 1.75. If it still doesn't work with it, and after trying what n_w95482 suggested, try using peops gpu plugin.

Nothing. I tried all of them, but none worked. Only a black screen.

Missed it....Damn!!

Besides,

But trying all the solutions in 21 minutes isn't easy...Are you sure you done them all?
Besides, you didn't state the version of Tales of Destiny.

No, no, I tried all the solutions! 21 minutes? Well I guess I'm very quick (after all, I' m Speedlink!

However, I took the cd to the shop, didn't work even on the psx itself! I changed with another, then tried again, now works perfectly! Thanks again, you all!
