HELP!!!!

i really want to play Valkyrie Profile, and i know about the Bleem-then VGS method, but my Bleem 1.5b always freezes at some point after the audience with Odin, possibly due to my slow computer.

so i'd really appreciate it if you can send me your old Valkyrie Profile gamesave in the first savepoint of the game, where i can safely use a patched version of VGS. Though i might miss a little bit of the action, it's okay...i dont want to use the gamefaqs saves, they're too late in the game to be of any use.

I've always wanted to do that on the net.

I've been able to play Valkyrie well with VGS most of the time. Against lock-up problems, I use ePSXe to fill in until I get through then switch back to VGS.

Using ePSXe all the time isn't good since to lags during battles, so use VGS for the opening scenes and when it comes to the Soul Concentration, use the GameShark code that blackens the world map.

That's it. VGS-ePSXe and optional (but very useful) [pec] combo does the job nicely.

the gameshark code doesnt work (i think) during that scene with Freya and Lenneth...ive tried. have you? i never got it to work....

Hi, Miki. You are right. The hex code doesn't work when Valkyrie & Freia appear on the "spiritual concentration" scene for the first time. That's why you need bleem to pass this spot. Now, since bleem locks up on you, the only other solution would be to use ePSXe, but know that for most people, ePSXe locks up A LOT MORE than bleem, on this game. Even if you pass this trouble spot with ePSXe, then some time later (in a battle) ePSXe is almost certain to lock up - bleem plays the battles also VERY slow, but 9 out of 10 it DOESN'T lock up completely...
So, feel free to use my memory card. It has 5 or 6 saves if I remember correctly, but the VERY FIRST one, is the earliest possible in the game. The memcard is in VGS format, no need to convert it. Just remember to use the patched version of VGS & enable the hex codes from now on...

thanks sights. im almost done with the game now, but i think ill be getting "bad" ending B this first time around...ill use your save to go for ending A.
