Decent II: Still in the wrapper

I found a copy of Decent II in a thrift store. I was suprised to find out that it was still in the wrapper, and in [near] mint condition too! oO I mean really, who would buy a copy of Decent, and not even play it? Or even open it? Oh well, it's in good hands now. I'm dying to start playing it, but I'm afraid to open it. Although I doubt it has a high value as a collectors item, but still a once in a lifetime find. I played the demo, and it was awesome.

Should I open it? Or leave it the way it is forever?

Buy This and keep your trophy intact... :innocent: :thumb:
As you have a legitimate copy, downloading it is not a problem, isn't it?

It's illegal... :innocent:
I its worth more then 50 no, if less, play it to your hearts content

Survey says... it's worth $15 new. Therefore, you might as well open it even if you don't plan on playing it.
Im jealous, I had a boxed copy of 1 and 2 many moons ago, can't find them now though.
I think I'll go with Paratech's idea. The original Decent II isn't playable on Vista (without dosbox) and I'm interested in playing Decent I too. With a Direct3D port, I guess you can't go wrong. Thanks. Btw, I'm still not opening it :)
blue: try D2X-XL. uses the data files of Descent 2 and 1 but runs in opengl.
