I have a problem, not just with cvgs but i thought i'd start here. Whenever I'm playing, i get about 15 minutes and then the game freezes by which i have to restart my computer because i can't minimize the program. What I have noticed is that it always happens when something's loading, although I haven't made any other pattern.

I use daemon tools to mount the image (my cd drive is pretty slow). I'm not sure but could the emulation settings be needed?

I have a P4 HT 2.8Ghz processor, 2.00 GB ram, Nvidia Geforce FX 5900.

Any Ideas?

So does this happen just with psx emus, with every game, with every program? Also, check out the system log, wich you can access through Start->Control Pannel->Admin Tools->Event Viewer, maybe when you suffer the problem a trace is left there.

i tried playing ff7 with cvgs and yep, crashes after bout 5-10 mins. mind u, this emulator has produced the best results graphically and in terms of compatibility. (not talking bout the bugs)
