In my wake of trying to find good free unknown crap for the masses of ngemu and other places I freqeunt. I came upon another oddball I'm sure some of you have seen.

Cube is a open source fps created around in-door, out-door enviroments. While no where graphically enclined as recent games. The best I could compare to would be Quake 1/Quake 2 imbetween. It leaves for total freedom of tweaking.

The multiplayer I have had the honor of playing for a bit and found it quite fun. It was like going back and playing pac-man every now and then. It's nothing new, but just felt good to get it out of the system.

The single-player are nothing more than a Doom-esque or Serious Sam style gameplay.

I'll take some more shots later.

speaking of unknown games....I found something on Neowin a little while ago. This game was basically a nice 3D shooter game with nice graphics, but the most admazing part of this game was that there was only one binary file, and the entire game only took up like 80KB of space....and I can't find it on neowin anymore

Another game worth mentioning is a UT-like game called Nexuiz

Wow i was really impressed on how the game looked. The only letdown was the Guns shooting noise. The gun shooting sounded so horrible. But besides that nice 3d shooter.

Looks fun, wonder if my intel card will run it... (We'll see, 17% downloaded so far...)
Edit: 1FPS (LITERLY!!) @ 1024x768, 10FPS @ 640x480 15FPS @ 320x280.. (Everything on low for all of those)
Not quite enjoyable!
It does however look good.
Later I'll go bug my friend to play it on his GF6600 ;-)

Cube runs nicely, except when I hit printscren @ 1024*768, if i do it then, it drops down to 20FPS, But if I hit printscreen in 800*600, its fine.

Oh, man this game is bad with lag! Sortof like Halo 1 xbox on XBC/XLink.
