Okay...I have combed the forums here and found 2 things.

1. Nothing to help my problem.

2. A good turn out in responses that actually help others.

Anyways...

I have beat the game repeatedly and I stumble across the "i_giveitem" cheat that I never noticed before, so I figured I'd mess with it.

Normally I just add whatever line of code into the baur.cfg file and play the game. (Major fun sending emenies/vehicles across the map) However the "i_giveitem" command requires me to use the console. This never worked for me in Crysis and is not working for me in Crysis: Warhead. I know a lot of people had similar issues, but nothing like mine.

Okay so..

I bring down the console, type in "i_giveitem C4" and nothing happens. No item, no error, nothing. It's like I never entered the command. At first I thought there was a code line conflict (which has happened before), but no dice there.

Here is a copy of my baur.cfg file (for both games) if it helps.

pl_swimbasespeed = 10
pl_swimjumpspeedbasemul = 5
cl_strengthscale = 5
g_walkmultipier = 5
i_noweaponlimit = 1

I did add the "con_restricted = 0" and still no luck. Now as I combed the forums I did see a couple posts about the system.cfg and when I went to look for mine I noticed I don't have one. (Understand that Crysis is off a disc and Crysis: Warehead is off of Steam) It makes no sense why I am missing the system.cfg file in both games. I could be misunderstanding it, but I think this might be associated to my issue..then again, maybe not.

Once again, my issue is that console commands do not work in both Crysis and Crysis: Warhead and I am beyond frustrated at this problem...

So uh..help?

Pulled from IGN.com::

"Head to the difficulty files in your Crysis folder (for example: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config). The four files you're looking for are titled diff_easy.cfg, diff_normal.cfg, diff_hard.cfg and diff_bauer.cfg. Open the file (using Notepad) of the difficulty level you are currently playing or wish to edit. Add the following line to the end of the file and save it:

* God Mode - g_godMode = 1
* No Target - ai_IgnorePlayer = 1
* No Weapon Limit - i_noweaponlimit = 1
* Unlimited Ammo - i_unlimitedammo = 1

You can also modify your suit stats. For example:

* g_playerHealthValue = 400.0
* g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTime = 0
* g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTimeMoving = 0
* g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeDelay = 0
* g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeTimeArmor = 0
* g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeTimeArmorMoving = 0
* g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeTime = 0
* g_playerSuitHealthRegenDelay = 0
* g_playerSuitHealthRegenTime = 0
* g_playerSuitHealthRegenTimeMoving = 0
* g_suitArmorHealthValue = 400.0
* g_suitCloakEnergyDrainAdjuster = 0
* g_suitRecoilEnergyCost = 0
* g_suitSpeedEnergyConsumption = 0
* g_suitSpeedMult = 2

After making all of your edits, save the file, load up a new game and see what you've edited!"

Also, it helps if you add -devmode to the end of your crysis shorcut.

Make a shortcut on your desktop(if you don't already have one). Make your shortcut look like this

~....program files/Crytek/Crysis.exe -devmode

the same goes for warhead
This makes it so you don't have to use con_restricted. So if you're doing it incorrectly; it won't matter in this case.
