I got this on a newsletter from a gaming company today. It's not really useful, but I found it to be very amusing. It can be nice to create your own secret language, or, when you're a pen&paper RPG player, to hand out scraps of paper full of "alien language".
The site not only creates an alien alphabet for you (using a genetic algorithm, with an initial drawing of yours as a seed) but lets you download it as a True Type font.
