ok, I've tried to get this game working on ePSXe forever but it keeps freezing up right after it shows the 'Sony Computer Entertainment America Presents' screen. I've tried nearly all different plugins for video, sound, and cdrom. Plus I've tried a couple different BIOS'. I know the cd's good as it runs on the PSX fine, used to run on Bleem and VGS(I moved on to only Windows 2000...no more dual boot as I saw it pretty much useless), but it will not get past this screen in ePSXe. I've tried a iso of the cd but the error still persists. One night, awhile ago, I left the game on only to find it at the same screen, still repeating the sound, unchanged. If I click off of the ePSXe screen and back, all I get is a transparent window(refuses to continue drawing out the graphics). Anyways, I usually run with Pete's D3D 1.5, ePSXe sound, ePSXe Win2K CDR plugin, and of coarse, the 1001 BIOS. System is a [email protected] running with a GF2MX, 512MB ram, SBLive, CDRom drive being used is a Ricoh MP7060A writer, Running Windows 2000 SP2 DX8 IE5.5 and...ummmm...I know I'm foregetting something...oh well. Do any of you have any ideas as to what type of problem this is?

Oh yeah, running the 12.41 detonators now. It still wasn't working with any of the previous versions. Also AGP is set to 2X(4 is still a little buggy) and aperature is at 4MB. 256 doesn't help and I don't have a need as it makes the system a bit more unstable.

below's a screenshot of ePSXe...this is all that's shown when it freezes. If I let another window overlap it and go back to this window, the game screen becomes transparent(showing the desktop).

You must patch it!

Make an ISO of the game using CDRWin (and only CDRWin!!).
You can download CDRWin here: http://www.goldenhawk.com/

Go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com and download the right patch.

Apply the patch using the right program (all the steps are described).

You can then play the patched ISO directly from ePSXe.
You can also burn the patched ISO into a CD using CDRWin.

NB: I thought that the american version works without any problems

I have the european version and it works since I applied the patch.

Same as above!

Ive been running carsh bash for months now. I had to use a Bin file and apply the patch to make it work.
But now with out greatly improved ePSXe, I grabbed the original out of moth balls and it runs without any patch at all! (PAL)

All hail the great ePSXe programmers.:eyespin:

I can't get the patches to work...I have the program needed to patch it, the NTSC to PAL patch, and the protection fix but it keeps saying that my bin image is different than that needed. Yes, I used CDRWin to rip it but it's still giving me this message.
